In creating our second TOMB RAIDER statue with Crystal Dynamics, we began by crafting a full 3D model of Lara Croft in her finalized outfit to ensure every detail was accurate. Our mission was to honor Lara’s iconic past and acknowledge her evolution, all while keeping her the centerpiece of the statue.
我们的下一步是开发雕像的底座及其环境，我们将从古代遗迹中汲取灵感。古老的石头上自然蔓延的丛林藤蔓感觉像是劳拉冒险的完美背景，与我们第一款古墓丽影雕像的埃及古墓背景形成了鲜明对比。参考图片中寺庙被自然吞噬的感觉非常符合劳拉的世界，为场景增添了逼真的深度。破败的建筑和茂密的藤蔓呈现出一段深入丛林的旅程，为劳拉的下一个大胆冒险奠定了基础。
Our next step was developing the base of the statue and its environment, which we would draw inspiration from ancient ruins. The natural overgrowth of jungle vines growing over ancient stone felt like the perfect backdrop for Lara’s adventure, offering a contrast to the Egyptian tomb setting of our first TOMB RAIDER statue. The reference images of temples being overtaken by nature felt true to Lara’s world and added accurate depth to the scene. The crumbling structures and overgrown vines created a journey deep within the jungle, setting the stage for Lara’s next daring adventure.

当涉及到劳拉的装备和配饰时，我们曾考虑过是否加入文物，但最终决定让粉丝们自行想象她的冒险。为此，我们为她配备了可互换配饰，让粉丝们选择她是挥舞登山镐还是双枪。让粉丝们想象她正在进行一场未知的冒险，这一点很重要。
When it came to Lara’s equipment and accessories, we debated including relics but ultimately decided to let fans imagine her adventure. To that end, we equipped her with interchangeable accessories, allowing fans to choose if she would wield her pickaxe or dual pistols. It was important that we allowed fans to imagine her in the midst of an untold adventure.
