Yesterday our event partners were hard at work constructing this incredible archery booth for NYCC. With the final touches in place, I’m super excited to share a first look with you all!

The booth features two lanes with a protective barrier in-between to keep arrows from straying too far. At the end of each lane is a custom archery experience target, which participants will get to keep as a souvenir. 

The experience is completely sealed off from the outside, but a direct feed of the archer and the target lets those in line see how others are performing. 

I’m going to head over to the show in just a bit with the intent of being one of the first to give the activity a go! Hope to see you there!

Friday, October 12: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 
Saturday, October 13: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Here’s a handful of snapshots from the first day of NYCC! Opening at 3:00 PM, Thursday is considered a “preview night” and the perfect opportunity to go shopping (or try your hand at the archery experience!) due to short lines and small crowds.

As with other shows on this tour, I hosted a gathering of the greatest Tomb Raider fans in the area at NYCC yesterday. Attendees included famous TR webmasters, avid forums users, and cosplayers! We started the morning off with a friendly archery competition, followed by lunch, demo sessions, and exclusive swag giveaways. 

This has been true of each and every community event, but I had an incredible time spending the afternoon with such dedicated and friendly fans. Thank you for making my job such a pleasure!

Today’s the final day to try your hand at your Tomb Raider archery experience at NYCC! Look at how much fun these people are having!
