Tomb Raider (2013) introduced a new gameplay mechanic to the franchise: skills that Lara can learn and perform. As players accumulate experience points (XP) throughout the game, Lara earns skill points that can be spent at any Camp on three main skill categories: Survivor, Hunter, and Brawler. Each skill requires one skill point.
在每个类别中，许多技能在玩家达到一定的技能等级之前都处于锁定状态。玩家必须在每个等级中购买一定数量的技能后，才能进入下一个等级。技能等级分为三个层次：I 新手、II 强化、III 专家。
In each category, many skills remain locked until players reach a certain skill level. Players must purchase a set number of skills in each level before progressing to the next. The skill levels are divided into three tiers: I Rookie, II Hardened, and III Specialist.

Each category focuses on a distinct skill set. The Survivor abilities, consisting of nine skills, grant bonus XP, salvage, and ammunition when looting or scavenging. The Hunter abilities, consisting of eight skills, enhance Lara’s effectiveness in combat by increasing ammo capacity and unlocking finisher moves. The Brawler abilities, consisting of seven skills, are ideal for players who prefer close combat, toughening Lara up and providing extra moves for fighting without relying on ammunition.
