许多网站谣传着古墓新作的消息：《沉没》将在2011年圣诞由水晶动力发行。
古墓丽影新闻频道很确定告诉全球古墓玩家这不是古墓9的标题。
水晶动力过去为Xbox360和PS3平台制作一部不为人知的作品——《沉没：三藩市》，这部作品在2008年已被Eidos终止，并且开发程度也没达到许可的试玩版本。沉没：三藩市在2007年已被Eidos注册了商标。
然而，水晶动力依旧在开发新的古墓系列并且《劳拉与光之守护者》将在2010年暑假作为数字下载游戏发售。
现在关于古墓9的疑问，如果真的是在2011年圣诞假期面世，我们只能说十分期待。

Tomb Raider: Downfall is NOT a Tomb Raider game under development

Several websites on the internet are rolling with the story that Tomb Raider: Downfall is the next pillar release from Crystal Dynamics, slated for Christmas 2011.
TOMB RAIDER NEWS CHANNEL can asure fans worldwide that this is NOT the title for Tomb Raider 9.
Crystal Dynamics WAS working on a Unannounced project for Xbox 360 and Playstation3. This project, DOWNFALL: SAN FRANSISCO was terminated by Eidos Interactive in 2008, and development never came futher than a Greenlight demo. DOWNFALL: SAN FRANSISCO was registered as a trademark by Eidos in 2007.
However, Crystal Dynamics is still working on Tomb Raider 9 and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is coming out Summer 2010 as downloable game.
And on the question if Tomb Raider 9 will be out Christmas 2011.. We have to say.. HOPEFULLY.
